I would recommend this book, Learn to Drive the Easier Way by Martin Caswell, to any learner driver. This book breaks down important information in an easy to understand way, and was a great accompaniment to my practical driving lessons. It was an enjoyable read and offered good advice that I had not been given before. I will keep this book and refer to it when needed, and also plan to keep it for my son when he is old enough to drive!

  2. Chloe Howard

Martin’s book “Learn to Drive an Easier Way” was absolutely fantastic. Not only does it provide a guide for the whole process of learning to drive – from choosing an instructor, taking your theory test, through to the day of your practical test – but it also provides extremely useful diagrams of manoeuvres. It serves as a perfect companion to lessons, and I found it incredibly reassuring to have another guide that I could refer to anytime I needed to.

  56. Ben

I had a lesson with Martin during the winter just gone. Although I passed my test over 4 years ago, I had never driven in snow and wanted to “learn” in a dual control vehicle in case I ever need to drive myself in the snow. Martin was incredibly patient and happy to explain (and demonstrate) how a car behaves in the snow and ice. We did a number of exercises including emergency stops at 15mph and hill starts (both on snow) which were incredibly useful.

I have since purchased “Learn To Drive an Easier Way”, and enjoyed reviewing the contents. I would recommend it to anyone who is currently (or considering) learning to drive.
